This coffee is the result of a partnership between Burundi-based Migoti Coffee Company and their processing stations, producing some of the best coffee across all of Burundi. 'Migoti' comes from a local indigenous tree and is also the name of the mountain where the first washing station was built. The coffee is grown by numerous small holder farmers on and around Migoti Mountain at altitudes of 1500 - 2000 metres above sea level. The coffee is picked and processed and then dried on raised drying tables and regularly turned with any defective beans removed. It has notes of lemon, red cherry, maple syrup and dark chocolate .
