This decaffeinated coffee comes from several small holder farmers located in the municipality of Argelia, in the south west of the department of Cauca, Colombia. Cauca is the 4th largest producer of specialty coffee in Colombia with 90,000 small holder farmers all producing mixed varieties of coffee on approximately 1 hectare of land. As well as producing coffee they also produce small amounts of food for their families, and to sell to generate extra income.
This decaffeinated coffee is full bodied with chocolate notes, hints of blackcurrant and has a caramelised butter finish.
