The Coffee Story:

This Brazilian Coffee is produced by the Barbosa family who have been in coffee production since the early twentieth century. The current owner of Cachoeira Farm is Danilo Barbosa who manages the farm along with his two sons, Victor Marcelo and Sergio Ricardo.

Cachoeira (which means' waterfall') is located in Minas Gerais on the High Cerrado region of Brazil at altitudes of 1100 metres above sea level and has 95 hectares of coffee plantations. The Cerrado Region was the first coffee growing region in Brazil and is excellently located for coffee production due to its soil type, topography and climate. This natural, fermented Catuai peaberry coffee is one of 6 arabica varietals grown and processed on the farm. This coffee has notes of milk chocolate, redcurrant and red grape.
