About
This lot was produced by Bekele Yutute, a third-generation farmer, on his family farm in Dambi village. and was processed at Dambi village’s own drying station. Bekele, a third-generation farmer, has cultivated coffee on his inherited land for over 10 years. Cherries are hand-sorted and dried on raised African beds. Drying takes 12 to 15 days. Grown in Dambi, Sidama at 1900-1950 masl, the cherries are hulled and sorted into grades after drying.
This natural processed coffee has notes of blueberry and mango with a bergamot finish.
Please Note: Naturally processed coffees are typically sweet, pungent and fruity and if you are not used to them, they can seem to have an unusual taste and aroma especially if you’re used to the more traditional ‘washed’ process coffees and when milk is added can sometimes come across as sour tasting.
