About
This organic and fair-trade coffee is from Tingkem in Bener Meriah Regency of Sumatra. It was formerly known as Bener Meriah but has recently been renamed by the growers. The cooperative is made up of smallholders who grow their coffees at an altitude of 1100 – 1400 metres above sea level.
The result is a very deep and full-bodied coffee with notes of dark chocolate, plum and tamarind.
